    Just curious, why wasn't the catcher brought up before? Vasquez should have been DH'ing the entire series when he was not behind home plate.

    I just want to say how enjoyable it has been to "talk sports" with you guys this Astro's season. It has been a great run, and I along with you guys will be cheering my heart out for the home team. Wish I could play (nobody else wishes that, but I digress). I am cheering for the Astros to play their best overall game of the series and END IT TONIGHT!

    I think bullpen arm, Will Smith, was given the last spot on the Astros’ World Series roster. In retrospect, it probably would’ve been better to carry a 3rd catcher and DH Vazquez.

    Yes Forrest Whitley is a really good pitcher, he had bad luck with his arm for 2 seasons and finally had surgery. Now he looks great and pitching great to end the year. Half of AAA Season and he can make the Roster.

    Or even Meyers and let him try DH. No point in carrying a pitcher you are never going to use.

    I’m having trouble thinking of a scenario where Smith could have been used at this point.
