My wife and I were joking about how excited that lead guy became when Marsh got hit and it brought Schwarber up. His voice rose many octaves. You could feel the disappointment when Chas caught that ball, too. He wanted it so bad. I had no idea he was the Dodgers pbp guy. That figures.

He’s certainly got more playoff wins.

Trout has basically been double in value of harper so for harper to pass him would be a 1 in a million scenario

Absolutely spot on. I muted the TV and listened on the radio.

No player has ever won the ALCS and World Series MVPs.

It has been done 8 times in the National League.

Has anyone ever seen Schwarber and McCormick in the same room at the same time???

    YES

But they still resemble each other

You think the way in which the lead announcer opposite Smoltz was calling the game was desperately wanting the Astros to fail?

Every Phillies fan thinks he sucks balls the way he got so excited that Chaz caught the ball. The Mancini play, he went almost as crazy.

WTF, first off he didn't pitch too, too much ( for someone whose normally a starter), we needed someone to eat up innings so the bullpen would stay rested for a game we really needed them and was more competitive and he'll definitely be ready for Game 6 and possibly 7.

    Valdez easily.

If he pitches like he did in the first game he will at least win Co MVP. Which I assume means you win your bet.

Why would one bet $105 and only win $100 when you could win $735 with that same bet on Valdez? Well over 7 times the winnings.

So, if I wanted a T-shirt made of McCormick's outline on the warning track after the catch, what would I do?

Pena is very deserving, but I would vote for Javier. Not sure the Astros would be in this position without him.

What made The Catch great was that on live TV, you're looking at the top of the screen when the camera cuts to the outfield, just waiting to see the ball come down in the stands--and then you pick up the ball just in time for McCormick to appear.

I watched his glove all the way to the ground.

    Awesome.

That’s what’s more incredible than anything else. It’s the young guys that come up through our system doing this. Winning Culture!

This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

Marsh in some respects had a slightly easier chance. He's 6'4" and Chaz is 6 flat. Marsh' ball is closer to him than the one Chaz caught. So Chaz had about another 4 feet of ground to cover. Marsh' ball is about 4-6 inches higher up the wall.
