I think Dusty will let JV start the 6th with a short leash

5-0 would have been ideal but this is world series... I guess it is going be a dogfight.

    C'mmon offense

Astros are 0-4 all time in World Series Game 1's.

It's the world series. Why lose a ****ing 5 run lead when you have bullpen for days. It's freaking mind boggling. I think Dusty was more inclined to give JV 5 for a chance at a win over the team.

Well then let's get Verlander a WS win!

Yes. I think that happened in Game 1 of the ALCS. It was tied in the 6th when Verlander left the game and then Yuli and Chas hit homers.

    We're exactly tied. That's funny 5-6-0.

Nobody said it was gonna be easy…. But if you told me we’d blow a 5-0 run lead, I wouldn’t have believed you.

Our guys have got to battle back.

Disappointing performance by Verlander. Hitters have to pick up the slack.

Yes and now, JV still won't get the win... if there is a win.

Having said that. This is now a 4 inning game versus both bull pens. Astros should still have advantage.

Our bullpen is built to give up nothing. So get a couple more and win this thing.

Hindsight is 20-20 but we should have stuck JV in the bullpen honestly.

Hid him away and said thank you for getting us to this point, but we'll take it from here.

    Tragic yes, but obviously necessary.
