Feeling good about the Game 3 and Game 4 matchups, whoever they may be. Need a Verlander win tonight to crush the souls of the Philles.
Man I hope they can finally win one of these when they get to the WS because if they don't, we are just going to be the guys who can't it done without trash cans. The Phillies truly do scare me
I'm gonna put it all out there and I don't care how silly this sounds, but I want this one bad. My mental state will suffer greatly if we don't win it all. Ever since the final out of the 2019 WS, a string of horrible events occurred in my life that continues to this day, deaths, terminal illnesses, job losses, funerals, house destructions, floods, litigations, you name it, it happened. Last year I felt the equilibrium could be righted again if the Astros won, they didn't, and the misfortune continued. Please win Astros and bookend this 3 year saga, give me, and the city, something to be happy about, something to celebrate. PLEASE DO IT!
Because Tucker didn't shut his damn mouth and learned nothing from 2019 and 2021, astros will lose game 1.
I know it won't be easy buy I really like this matchup. Astros just have too much depth. Unless the Astros choke, the Phillies can't win without Nola and Wheeler winning at least 3 of their games ( likely games 1,2, 5, and 6) and 3 of those will be in Houston. The #3 and #4 starters are clear mismatches in Houston's favor so even the other games in Philly will be difficult on them. This team is completely different than the 2019 team - it takes care of business at home. Astros win it at home in game 6. JV gets 2 wins and pitches brilliantly but Alex Bregman is the hero and MVP * Trey Mancini has a good series with a couple of HRs in his final 4 games as an Astro, taking the bitter taste out of the mouth of Astros fans
