Astros have lost 5 World Series games in a row at home. Apparently Manfred may make them open the roof tonight. Go for it, it's not like having a closed roof in the World Series has made for any advantage. In the Astros World Series history they have more wins in Nationals Park (3-0) than MMP (2-8).

Two bad luck sports cities. I feel like the Braves are gonna blow a 3-1 lead and Astros in 7.

So True! Atlanta was stacked. Let's not forget about Phi Slamma Jamma or the Buffalo Bills. I am glad the stros won one but would love two!!

We win this series of from here on out of…
1.we get solid pitching from Urquidy, Framber, Garcia, Odorizzi.
    2. Altuve, Bregman, Correa starts swing in the bats better.

    3. Morton is a huge loss for them and the deeper this series goes, the more it favors Astros… as long as Astros pitching can give a decent performance and not the 2 innings 5 run jobs.

Getting another ring is the only way Altuve, Bregman, and co salvage their legacies from the media smear campaign.

Breg doesn't really seem to swing anymore. It's like he is out there just trying to outsmart the pitcher every time on reputation, and it never works. Strike out looking. Altuve and Bregman of old would be out there making contact on everything near the zone and burning out pitchers.

It’s pretty simple I think. We need Bregman, Altuve and Correa to do what they’re capable of.

We don’t need them to all get scorching hot, just consistent at bats and hits. Gotta get men on base and keep it moving down the line.

We cannot have a performance from Urquidy like his last one. He worries me today.

Still, I think the Astros win out from here.

If Urquidy gets into any kind of trouble early, they should have Javier up and ready to go right away.

I have to be honest: not very confident with Urquidy starting; but I do think our batters will wake up, it's just I feel they will outscore us from our SP.

Problem is Altuve swings at everything - has to change his approach to just get in base and cause chaos

Breg and CC go up there looking for the perfect pitch or trying to guess what’s coming and stare at strikes then swing and junk … CC is best when hitting opposite field …Bret’s used to destroy anything down and in

All is well if we win tonight.

Going to be a tough series to win if we lose.

Looking at Savant this morning, we actually hit the ball fairly well against them last night (.344 xwOBA). The difference in the game is that almost all of their damage came against one pitcher while ours was spread out against a number of pitchers. Putting Framber back out there in the third was a critical error.

The longer this series goes, the better our chances get, more opportunities our batters break out of their slump, more times we see Braves pitching minus Morton, more time for Braves bats to cool down…and they will.

Best chance for Braves is finish us early. Get to us before our bats break out. Tonight is a very important game for us. Braves win tonight and you can see an outcome of them winning in 4-5 games if urquidy, Garcia, framber continue to struggle.

That won’t happen though, we will win tonight at home.
