I’m worried about him physically. I think he’s banged up rn. but he’s due. Being a DH and in a familiar park should change things up hopefully
Is Dusty going to keep this order to the batting lineup or go back to the other one? I thought I heard him say he was going back to the normal lineup. I wonder if shuffling the lineup throws a wrench in what the Braves pitchers plan for as far as expecting a certain order to the lineup?
So roof open or no Tuesday night? It worked for game 2. Im voting open Weather is suppose to be decent
Swap King Tuck and Yordan for Game 6 lineup... 1. Tuve 2. Brantley 3. Correa 4. Tuck 5. Gurriel 6. Yordan 7. Bregs 8. Chas/Siri 9. Machete
I honestly think that’s over managing. I like the Bregman move but I wouldn’t change yordan. Dude was ALCS mvp and about to DH again.
Our Lefties need to not stress and take the walks … that low outside pitche let it go …unless they gonna step up in box and hit it other way
Yordan’s main issue right now is chasing the low and away breaking balls from LHP’s. In the Boston series- sale, Taylor, and Rodriguez were challenging him with fastballs over the plate. Yordan was laying off the breaking balls early in the count last series and putting himself in favorable counts. It can be fixed. But we’re going to need him to win this series. Yuli has been on fire. Tuve is heating up. Maldy is seeing and hitting the ball(which is huge), Tuck has been consistent all postseason, Correa is hitting, Brantley is hitting. I’d love to see Siri start BOTH games in center purely for energy and spark- that dude is a potential game changer at any moment. He is electric. Game 6- I am visualizing a quick first inning from Garcia and putting up a 3 spot in the bottom of the 1st. Knock Fried out early, tax their pen, and play 18 innings of dominant baseball and bring that trophy back home where it belongs.
It better be open. The Astros won their first playoff home World Series game in their last six chances with it open for game 2.
