it can happen but it’s definitely not the teams strong suit.

    He's still hitting .333
That's better than 1-6 in the lineup.

Sounds like we need to get an 8-0 lead by the 2nd inning.

That's what it's going to take since the bullpen is burnt.

It is really shocking how the Astro bats have gone quiet in this series. I have never thought we had a "championship" level pitching staff this season. Cole, Verlander, Morton, and even McCullers are long gone, BUT, I really never expected for the bats to go limp. Our .300 hitters have gone from heroes to zeros. I don't believe that the Braves pitching is totally responsible. How can you be so hot in one series and so cold in another? I know, it's baseball or maybe a colossal choke job. For sure, Bregman needs to sit. It is do or die tonight. I am not particularly optimistic, but I am ready to be surprised.

I haven’t seen a Texans game start to finish in years. I’ve seen 1 half of play thus far this season. They are a joke. I guess I’m a fan? I never really had the emotional attachment to the NFL after the Oilers left.

    Tucker Davidson starting for Atlanta.

If the Braves can win today and yesterday, with the level of starting pitching they threw out there… more power to them.

Yeah. He’s getting lots of opportunities to knock in runs where he is hitting, so I don’t see it as a problem that a good hitter is batting there.

It’s the timing of when he’s getting hits that has been an issue, not where he’s batting.

Obviously not, you have to rewind and replay the whole thing which is why cheating sucks.*

*this also assumes that other teams weren't sign stealing too

Only thing in favor of us today is that we have done this stuff all season long. 2-3 bad offensive clunkers, then explode again.

Last night we were just close to breaking out aside from Bregman.

if Framber holds up early and we can just get some runs finally, we will finally win as we should.

But funny how the expected results are the toughest ones

If the Stros can have a complete game tonight they might have a chance to win it all. One game at a time. They won three straight against the Red Sox.

If we cannot get some runs off a rookie pitcher early on, that has to be the nail in the coffin for this hitting coach. Bregman cannot be in the 3rd spot.

If Bregman were still cocky and showboaty, I would feel a million times better with him at the plate despite his struggles. But he's been so.. nervous and scared for him.
