I believe in Greinke to get the job done. He will do whatever he can to get this ring and he's EXACTLY the type of player we need on this team to help make that happen. Greinke will be in survivor mode but hopefully he'll be doing it with a 2-1 series lead.
Folks are going to talk smack just to talk smack. JV will always be a special guy for me when it comes to Astros history.
Good read from one of Dustys former players Doug Glanville https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id...-baker-makes-houston-astros-much-more-scandal
I believe in Greinke also. It appears he will get the call in game 4. If we lose game 3, short leash. If we win game 3, I think he'll pitch with less stress and give us 5 or 6 innings. So let's go win game 3.
I think Zack will be motivated to go lots of innings just so he can get more at bats and get his stolen base.
Negative, I think ATL is in the clear for the weather, however, I expect it to be windy based on the data I am seeing
Question on if the game is rained out tonight. Game three would be played on Saturday and game four on Sunday and game five on Monday. If game six is necessary would it still be played on Tuesday as scheduled or would they have an off day and push it back to Wednesday?
Here’s their forecast…https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?textField1=33.75&textField2=-84.39#.YXvjHPdOkWM
Hourly forecast I saw shows it clearing up around 3pm at 53 degrees and then clear until around 8pm with showers at 50 degrees, yuck
‘Understand what their forecast says, but based on the weather radar, weather prog charts I’ve studied this morning, it already looks like ATL will be clear of rain but it will be windy most likely.
