I'm glad Richarlison is having a great world cup.

There was a story that resurfaced about the time when he was a relative unknown at Watford
Reached out to a family that was trying to raise money for medical bills and offered them a signed jersey to raffle out

if you speak spanish u can kinda understand it
also donates 10% of his salary to cancer treatments in brazil

Buy a Yankee and Cowboy jersey while you're at it.

japan game was intense. too bad they englanded the penalties. they clearly over thinked it instead of smashing to top corners. it was over when minimono mad that soft tap.

ive been rooting for croatia since i can remember. let's go red white plaid!

also if something happens to pele, brazil will not lose

It's a shame that the brackets for the knockout round ended up the way they are. Based on the expectation that Spain and Portugal advance into the quarterfinal later today one could argue that 4 of the top 5 remaining teams would all be situated on the bottom half of the bracket with Brazil being the lone top squad on the top half of the bracket.

I know Argentina are rated high but I personally don't see it. Outside of there wealth in attack I don't see any other positions where they have anything quite that close and once they start playing teams that can beat them in the midfield it won't matter how great there attack is because they won't have too many opportunities. They currently rely on their forwards coming back to get the ball to start the attack but I don't see that working against any of those bottom bracket sides and potentially might fail them as early as their quarterfinal matchup with Netherlands.

    Dang.

Spain reminds me of this year's Belgium.

    Just boring.

Spain couldn’t score a single goal. Not even on penalty kicks. Wow.

So maybe 3 of the top 4 teams reside in the bottom half of the bracket.

Good for Morocco though. They have enough talent on that squad and a stone cold goalie during penalties.

Damn I feel bad for Spain. Are they going to be ok? Should Spain and Japan work together in off-season on PK lmfao.

I thought they improved at the Euros in terms of execution, speed, accuracy.

Now they are falling back to the Old tiki taka ball possession over efficiency crap.

Sergio Busquets would have made that penalty if he took a dive like he usually does.
