That Canadian keeper did an awful lot of s**t talking during qualification for him to be this terrible. Morocco's 2nd was an easily save-able ball. He's not good. Canada won't progress from here without a decent keeper.
Probably one of the most disliked people in Croatia currently. The guy comes from a mixed Croat-Serb family, and completely unprovoked started calling Croatia a Serbian territory pre-tournament, then played the victim card last week when Croatian fans harassed him. Even his Croatian grandmother gave an interview to the media where she called him an idiot. And now he's directly responsible for Morocco finishing 1st in our group that will send them to the (seemingly) easier side of the bracket. Ah, if you want to be the best, you need to beat the best. At least I can relax a few days now, the Belgium match was crazy.
It was nuts. How Lukaku doesn't score those many sitters is beyond me...but, to be honest, Belgium was bad throughout and didn't deserve a place in the 16 anyway. I was a little disappointed in your boys as I thought y'all would dominate the group. I'm a big Modric fan. Germany is getting so, so close early on but is taking one too many touches in front of goal and allowing Costa Rica to get set defensively.
Japan is group leader for now but it was a controversial goal, out of bounds. Germany out for the moment. Spain is out if they lose and Costa Rica beats Germany.
