On to the knockout round! Woo! The losing camera shot of the Iran chick was hot, but she's a loser. We are movin on. USA!
I honestly don't follow US soccer, but it seems like we are really lacking a real striker. Offense is really lacking
I just watched the last 20 minutes at the ORD Polaris lounge. Lots of relief when the match was over, lots of cheers and applause in the lounge. Nice.
The USA's defense has not conceded a SINGLE goal in the run of play....ZERO - that is getting it done. Our best PURE striker was left of the roster in Pepi....but Sargeant was amazing today. DD
He didn't really astound me, but Sargeant might b out with that nasty injury he sustained attempting to dodge that tackle
The USA are better team than in years past, but am I the only one who misses the personalities of the other teams? Clint Dempsey was so funny and had so much swag and IDGAF, etc.
As long as they continues to qualify, people will get to know them.Guys like donovan, beasely, and dempsey were around for multiple cycles. Outside of Yedlin, i think they are all new to the world cup stage.
It was disheartening to see us replicate the Wales strategy: score first and then park the bus. Iran had a few real chances to tie the game and eliminate us since we didn't try to possess the ball at all for the final 35 minutes. We were close to 2-0, and have certainly had some unlucky breaks so far, but competing against the Netherlands is going to be a tall order. However, this team is so young and I'm happy that we've gotten through to the knockout round. That was critical ahead of 2026.
Rest and ice are sufficient for most musculoskeletal abdominal injuries. Intra-abdominal injuries may require surgery, particularly for more severe traumas involving the liver, kidney, or spleen. Time to return to play varies depending on the extent of the injury.
