From the far too early predictions of the World Cup, based on the draw I came away with the following: Pretty standard group rankings with my biggest surprise being Canada finishing ahead of Croatia for 2nd place in their group. I think the combo of Canada's young stars and Croatia's aging roster will work in Canada's favor. Netherlands v Brazil and France v Belgium semifinal with Belgium beating Netherlands in the 3rd place game and France beating Brazil in the finals.
The field is set, the USA has a decent shot at getting out of the group stage as we will be favored in 2 of the 3 matches. Let's go.... DD
With Wales getting the final UEFA spot that leaves two spots remaining to complete the field of 32. It comes down to winner Australia vs UAE taking on Peru with the winner joining France, Denmark and Tunisia in Group D and Costa Rica vs New Zealand with the winner joining Germany, Spain and Japan in Group E.

I have always thought that USA should incorporate the bald eagle into their National Team Crest the same way England has lions or Germany and a host of other nations that feature all sorts of eagle designs. Seems simple but a Bald Eagle crest that also incorporates red, white and blue would probably on its own improve the National Team Kits.
