I disagree. They don’t have the technical capability to hold off a team like Croatia. Maybe not an all out press but the only way they were staying in that game was with their athleticism and speed. Croatia was just a horrible matchup. They needed to beat Belgium, who were a better matchup as they’re old and slow. Unfortunately for Canada, they’re just not a good finishing team.
Costa Rica had 2 shot on goal these two first games with one being the winner against Japan. That might have saved Germany from back to back embarrassments.
I wanted Japan to make it through but they blew it against costa rica. Unless a miracle happens, it's gonna b Spain and Germany going through. Japan needs to win, a draw ain't gonna help them. I fully expect germany to beat up costa rica
