England set soccer back 20 years in the USA with that performance. If you are a kid watching that, you are immediately getting back on the baseball/football field.
Huh? It was a well played game and a great result against a more talented opponent. Really could’ve won the game. It’s the first time in a competition like this the US played a team like England and didn’t immediately go into a shell and hope for a counter. They took it to them because they weren’t intimidated. The only reason someone would be turned off by this game would be because they don’t know the game or understand the strategy and tactics. Southgate made a mistake in going Mount over Foden. Berhalter made a mistake not going to Reyna earlier. Id say Aaronson should’ve started but Musah and McKinney played very well. Adams is 1st name on the sheet regardless so it’s never going to be at his expense. Haji Wright even played well. 2” lower on Pulisic’s shot and we win that game.
these 0-0 results are a letdown. silver should do something so soccer is more high tempo and high scoring
So wales would only advance with a win and a USA draw. The goal differential from game 1 is really killing Iran with any tiebreaker scenario. Both games with be played simultaneously. The US needs to muster some offense on Tuesday.
Amen we were the better side, and it was awesome - Weston also had a great shot that was hard but wide open....... I loved how we played today, and am very excited for Tuesday! Let's GOAL !!!!! And England has NEVER beaten the USA in a World Cup they are 0W - 3D - 1L DD
A tie would be golden for mexico but i'm not sure lol We've only beaten argentina once in an official game and that was way back in copa america 04 Hoping for the best tho
