Ah well. 'Stros gave up at the end, and that's not the mentality of a champion. Lots of retooling and questions in the offseason but also time to heal up. It will at least make the offseason news interesting. I hope getting smacked puts a fire in their belly. There's an old saying: You can't be hungry if you're full. Get hungry, Astros.
These last 2 seasons I guess are the baseball gods shoving it for 2022. It’s so ****ing painful. So many moves need to be made. Can’t ever accept losing 7 home games in a row.
I mean you never know if there would've been a even bigger disaster if Yordan Alvarez, Kyle Tucker gets bigger injury in the Playoffs. Probably it is for the best.
Need a CFer with good OBP and ability to steal to move Altuve down the lineup, need a possible 1B regular unless you think Carantini can handle it......need a replacement 3B if Bregman is gone. The good news is we have **** LOADS of good pitchers to trade. DD
They made the most of the roster they had I suppose. I'm really not going to spell doom for the franchise, they've been consistently good, we are spoiled. For reference, Tigers haven't won a playoff series in a decade. Not saying we should have that standard but this is how sport dynasties are these days. You just consistently make the playoffs as often as you can and hope luck breaks your way when you do. I don't care what happens with Tucker, I'm serious on that. Feels like every post season dude is a complete dud. All we need from him is one good AB per game in the post season feels like they are rare and never happening. Obviously need to address the bullpen and get an actual first baseman. Also, not taking any slander towards Altuve, yall stop. He's doing all he can and one of the greatest Houston sports players of all time. No Altuve slander. At least the Texans are 3-1.
The shittiest part, although I will take great pleasure in it, is the Tigers are going to get wrecked from now on. It’s a gimmick baseball team and the shorter the series the better chance they have. We didn’t lose to a good team, we lost to a team that didn’t score 700 runs.
