Josh Hader has to be traded. The signings of Montero, J Abreu, Hader literally crippled this franchise.
Not many cry over 2018, 2020, or 2021, that was just getting beat by a better team. 2019, 2023 were heartbreaking. The cries you hear are cries of mourning and loss, frustration from not being able to avenge those failures, that they have one fewer chance to go out there and represent the city on the national stage. I wouldn't trade the last 10 years of Astros baseball for anyone else's, but this is like seeing an old boxer getting taken out to pasture to end his last title run.
It’s starts at the top. Do we trust Dana to make the right decisions? Can crane please excuse himself from making FA decisions and keep Bagwell and gang away?
I'm tipping my hat to the Detroit Tigers and AJ Hinch. Even though this sucks right now I like this team. They have heart and grit. Coming back this season and then never giving up. They got some really good young talent and Hinch shows he's one of the smartest managers in the game. Very disappointed in the Stros but I'm going to be rooting for the Tigers for the rest of the playoffs.
Astros will add a couple of players and come back strong next year -- but this sucks right now. Stupid f***ing loss This season was wack from opening day on.
When you are utterly incapable of winning a post season game at home, it's time to make some changes. It's unfathomable how bad this team is at home when it matters. You can't have a home field disadvantage. That **** needs to somehow get fixed whatever it takes.
Astros were 6 outs from having the bullpen game potentially coming back to bite the Tigers in game 3. Very disappointing we did not get to see Kikuchi in game 3.
Bullpen 3 1/3 innings 5 hits 4 earned runs 4 walks I’ve written this line quite a few times this season.
