Where are all of the guys who were saying its no big deal that we won another AFC South Title in the softest Division?
Great night Texans Win Patriots Lose Clippers, Nuggets, Mavs lose. Rockets now tied for second best record in the West
If you are referring to the lateral their qb tried at the end of 4th, that play was a big reason the game went into OTbc that lateral led to the ball going out of bounds and thus stopping the clock which saved sig time.
Damn what a game. Watson just willed the team to win. Mercilus, Conley, Watt a lot of guys stepped up and made plays after an abysmal first half. Lord have mercy does the offense look lost without Fuller. Please come back for the Chiefs.
Pretty much what I expected. Still didn't stop me from screaming at the TV for 3 quarters watching vanilla offense, tunsil jumping early, offensive line getting beat by 4 guys, defense forgetting how to tackle, etc. Still want O'brien out. That being said, Watson is a beast and his play will dictate how far they can go, and I feel O'brien's game plan holds him back too much.
Positive - Somehow of the four teams that played today Texans had the highest average yards per play at 5.5 and least penalty yards at 20. 6-13 not bad offensively on 3rd down. Giving up 11-21 on 3rd down defensively isn’t good.
No doubt that the game was won by Watson who was unreal, for most of the second half. Watching the first half though it seemed like Watson was also responsible for the 0 points. He seemed hesitant to decide on a play at times and hesitant to pull the trigger on a few. That being said the first two drives also ended on the bills side of the field due to bad calls by the refs.
Bills D was a great test. We absolutely need Fuller to play to have a chance. I could see the line moving from HOU +8 to +4.5 or lower if Fuller is a go. Having JoJo back would be huge, too. KC is beatable. Tough task, but can be done. Hell, we’ve already done it! Fuller needs to be healthy and Duke/Carlos need to terrorize their run D...I think we have a shot despite the opening line.
