[Official] Who is Working Today?

Here until 11, then taking the office for lunch & bowling. Home by 3!

 

I'm at work today, but I'll probably take off at lunch time. I'm lucky because I can come and go as I please.

 

Wait, you need more than 20K posts? You could always create a McGrady thread.

 

I'm at work but they have already announced we get to leave at 3.

 

It's been like that all week here. Our system, Banner, that we do all of our work in is going through an upgrade and has been down so we have no real work to do besides answering the phones and telling students that the system is down and when it will be back up.

Things that I have done besides up my post count:

4. Wikipedia (random article)

 

Man I hope I can get out of here by 3. Very little reason for me to be here. Who isn't working is the question? Hire me.

i'm so bored i'm making my first post.

 

I'm technically working but work has been really slow the past week.

 

Man. I remember the time I was so bored I broke the lurker status...

Whoa, so even though this is your first post, you already have a green bar?? I thought everyone started out with the blue box or James White rep.

Anyway for me, I'm here as I have a couple of things I am going to try to finish but they are not pressing. Will probably be told to go home early but I doubt I will as I usually leave around 4:30 to 5. Off tomorrow and get paid for holiday pay but Friday is the day that sucks. Our office is "officially" closed that day but we don't get holiday pay. You either have to take vacation or work. Traditionally, I have worked that day as taking a vacation day when the office is closed does not sit well with me. I think what I'll do this year is work up to lunch and then take the afternoon off. I'm losing 4 hours of vacation by doing that, but what else can I do about it?

 

I am working tirelessly to insure the state of Texas health and human services system continues to run as flawlessly as it has for lo these many years.

work today, probably pretty late. off tomorrow but i'm coming in friday, but probably for only 2 or 3 hours.

i echo the sentiments of the poster who said holidays are apparently for children. i figured for sure i'd get more time off in dec. than just xmas eve and xmas day, but nope...
