Abreu warming up? For what? Framber at 82 pitches.

Rare to go over 80 pitches in spring training. Oh? It's August? Nevermind.

Even though he just missed it, Chas was ready to damage with that 3-1 hanging slider…

Yes. That, to me, is more plausible than him just not being good at baseball anymore. He was a stud last year and has never hit this poorly. Players go through rough patches. It’s 33% of a full season that we’re talking about. He’s not killing us batting in Maldonado’s spot and I never once saw you complain about Maldy’s hitting.

You are a Dusty and Maldy truther, so you’re not gonna like Chas anyway. Took you forever to begrudgingly come around to Diaz.

Hopefully just warming lazily, until Framber gets a runner on.

Abreu coming in. He’s been overworked. Framber at 82 pitches.

Weird choice to go to Abreu here, Framber didn't seem to be laboring.

Espada frequently pushes the wrong buttons in close games. We'll see how this goes..

I don't agree with Framber being taken out either. Abreu hasn't been exactly shutdown, a lot of traffic, etc.

    I dunno, I give up.

    We're playing 18 straight days.

Has Joe not gotten the memo?

Don’t like this at all. Unless Framber told Espada he was tired, this was a beautiful opportunity to get some rest before Red Sox come in.
    Still fear based managing.

I've been told it's just left to chance. All randomness that every team goes through. Espada is supposedly just fine in close games. That's what I've been told.
