All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PVP that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on Root Sports unless otherwise noted.

7-1 Miguel Gonzalez, RHP vs. Mike Fiers, RHP 7:10

7-2 Chris Sale, LHP vs. Doug Fister, RHP 3:10

7-3 Jose Quintana, LHP vs. Collin McHugh, RHP 1:10

Really sucks to get Sale and Quintana, both lefties too. This series is gonna be tough to win. Would be thrilled with 2 of 3.

Need Fiers to take care of his business so we can take this one tonight, and I really hope Reed has a decent game, because he'll likely sit, or have a very tough matchup in the next 2.

Never thought I would say this when we signed him, but Chris Sale vs. Doug Fister is the best matchup we could hope for.

agree, really just hoping for 2/3. And need some urgency for game 1, given the following matchups

First game on the homestand after a great successful road trip (with a nice off-day break) is always the hardest.... regardless of the pitching matchup.

Last time we had a bad pitching matchup, it was the Rangers. Not a good feeling.

Do jumping jacks every time Sale strikes us out.
(we're still winning that game 1-0)

Do we want Cleveland or Toronto to win today?

    I think Cleveland.

Considering Cleveland has a 6 game lead in the central, what purpose would it serve (today) for Toronto to win? Of course it would be best for Cleveland to win.

Do we want Kansas City or Philadelphia to win today? I think Philadelphia.
Do we want the Angels or Red Sox to win today? I think the Angels.
Do we want Tampa Bay or Detroit to win today? I think Tampa Bay.
Do we want the Twins or Rangers to win today? I think Twins.
Do we want the Yankees or Padres to win today? I think Padres.
Do we want the Orioles or Mariners to win today? I think Orioles.
Do we want the Astros or White Sox to win today? I think Astros.

Actually, i go for every National Legue team when they play an american league.

I agree with all of your picks, except one, i prefer the Mariners over Orioles. I think Toronto has a chance to catch up the Orioles, so i want them to have a record we can compete with them for a Wild Card.

I don't see Seattle in front of us, and if that happens is because we did not play good baseball.

Agreeeeeee, but prefer the M's right now. I don't want the O's to get out of reach

The Orioles 'getting out of reach' mean they win the division.

Correct, but i think Toronto will catch them up, meaning, if one gets out of reach, the other does as well
I don't want either to get out of reach

I would prefer no teams get out of reach. I would like all of the good teams to lose and the bad teams to win.
