Why do I not ever trust Qualls?

 

Hinch will go to Qualls/Sipp against lefties... and Neshek against righties.

Then use Sipp and Qualls in the 7th, and Neshek in the 8th, I dont trust Qualls much.

Qualls has a 2.79 ERA. Stop acting like he's some kinda scrub.

Sox had a bunch of lefties up in the 8th.... Neshek faced right-handed hitters in the 7th.

If the order of the lineup was reversed, you'd see those pitchers reversed. Hinch doesn't have a 7th or 8th inning "guy"... hasn't had one all year. Its been entirely matchup driven.

Only constant is Gregerson for saves.

Neshek should be our 8th inning guy, he is better than Qualls.

And i would say it again, I prefer Fields over Qualls.

So I would go Sipp/Fields in the 7th, Neshek in the 8th and Gregerson in the 9th.

I am not a Qualls fan
