Not sure your numbers are correct. I have not looked or care.

I only care about points allowed. That is how myself and most coaches rate a defense.

Green Bay is 9th in points allowed.

    The Texans are 15th.

For the new fans out there just learning the sport: Yards allowed can help adjust for defenses who get screwed over by their offense via short fields/turnovers.

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

This game will tell us a lot. Get more of a look at where you are when 7 games. No longer early season. It gets real this Sunday.

Again, myself and most coaches care most about points allowed. It's about the final score & winning games, not about yards.

Someone doesnt understand the difference between #1 defense and #1 scoring defense.

You can rate a defense by points allowed or yards allowed. Myself and most coaches are more concerned with points allowed.

    Made clear 3 times now..

Here we can see that the struggles we've had so far this year can be laid neatly in the lap of Bobby Slowik and the offense (LOL I say struggles loosely as we sit happily at 5-1). That DVOA is not good through 6 games, but thank God for the defense. #2 in the NFL in defensive DVOA. Losing the entirety of our run game while Joe Mixon was out severely skews the offensive metrics so I would expect a rapid climb if he's healthy.

NFC North is great this year.

This will be a really tough game and I'm excited but a little leary after that beat down in Minneapolis.

Bobby is extremely inconsistent. Seems to draw up good plays, but its not consistent enough.

Its a bit of a shared liability:

    Play Calling/Game Planning
Self inflicted wounds (lead NFL in false starts)
Total loss of run game while Joe was out

The Shanny WCO requires a solid run game. If we can count on Joe the rest of the way and Nico comes back soon we can gain continuity leading up to the playoff chase I really like our odds way beyond this game if everyone can get healthy and the OL can clean up some of their warts.

What the defense is doing without Harris is pretty amazing. If Autry can give that interior a boost we can challenge for best defense in the NFL.

Never said I was...I said myself and most coaches care about points a defense gives up more than yards a defense gives up.

The Packers lost to the Vikings as well by 2 points. Would have been a win had our former kicker not missed 2 FGs.

NFC North is on pace to be the best division in history this season.

We will see what happens Sunday.

I like how you registered on Monday to troll the Texans. Well-done, sir. Lol.

I’m guessing win or lose we won’t hear from you after Sunday. You’ll be on to the jags forum on Monday. I don’t even think your opinions are rude or outrageous in any way. But you are a troll, facts.

I'll stop here late Sunday or Monday win or lose. I will be at the game, and usually get the tailgate going again after the game, then a few other stops. For a noon game I normally roll into the homestead around 8. Don't really have time to kill on random websites on weekends.

I also only go on a few fan forums of the teams the Packers play, not every week. Lifelong Packers fan, but I kinda liked the Oilers as a kid. Once Houston got another team I gravitated a bit towards the Texans. Not a total fan, but I keep an eye on them more than a lot of other teams. The Jags, no.

You can try and frame me as a "troll" if that floats your canoe. I'll let you know when I give a sh*t.

Don't miss me too much after Monday. Maybe I'll stop during the playoffs. I assume the Pack and Texans will be in.
