Let's hope so! Neither the Colts' offense or defense is ranked nearly as high as Buffalo. I'm hoping our defense can win it for us. I just hope we can find a way to move the ball with our running game enough to take pressure off our QB, even with our battered offensive line. I'd love to see Tank do some magic against their defenders. Mistakes we need to avoid are stupid penalties and bad coaching decisions on offense. We can't just hand them yards or the ball like last week, and give them second chances. Bring it like we did last week in the first half of the game, and keep it going in the second half. Go Texans!
I was thinking something similar. 9ers are always dealing with a ton of injuries too. Maybe their training methods are contributing to some of the injuries. Could be coincidence, but man is there a lot already
Couldn’t agree more. I had a renewed energy going into this year and it’s being sucked out of me with each big name added to the IL
So much pain. I’m 34, started following Houston sports during the killer B days in the 90s, then Yao Ming inspired me to become die hard rockets fan and it was tough seeing him get injured. Then I thought Schaub + Arian foster + Andre Johnson would take us deep. Then Deshaun. At least the Astros got it done (especially last year to shut up everyone outside Houston)
I started following the Houston Oilers and they proceeded to have back to back 1-13 seasons. The bad times are normal and that makes the good times even better.
I have to ask, when exactly were the good times when it's come to football?? I'm 40, and the peak of my Houston football fandom was being up 35-3 at halftime against Buffalo haha.
If Mills starts over Keenum, then I have to question Demeco's ability to evaluate talent. Keenum is not only more experienced but he also looked great when we saw him in preseason.
same here brother almost 35 (siiiigh). CP3s hammy, Stockton’s 3, 24-0 up on chiefs, Buffalo comeback. The 2004 NLCS really stings for me. Loved that 04 squad (sorry for posting ab Stros in Texans section). i have vague memories of going to an oilers game with my pops at the dome. Fckin hell time flies. i dunno what the future holds for CJ, but damn it’s just nice to be excited for Sundays again.
Looking forward to seeing how Demeco handles Richardson. Seems like Steichen had him only doing half field reads and short throws last week. To me, that should have this defense kicking its chops.
