Damn! We should've suited them up on the defense today....at least they showed some FIGHT! You know I said thr same thing! But if you noticed in the 4th Qtr he finally started looking for Schultz. Hopefully, its coming. Rather than taking the sack, he can check down to Schultz.
Regarding Stroud going to Schultz. You know I said the same thing! But if you noticed in the 4th Qtr he finally started looking for Schultz. Hopefully, its coming. Rather than taking the sack, he can check down to Schultz.
For all the talk about the OL, the Texans handily won TOP. That wasn’t all from garbage time either. The defense was rested and still got killed. Disappointing.
Went back to the 3 minutes I missed because of the Stros game. How crucial to not hold Indy to a FG with seconds remaining til halftime. The plays coming back from halftime have been awful. Might as well kick it off in the 2nd half. Oh and the higher beings taking that fumble recovery away because they ran out of field. Ugh.
when do we start saying Meco is not a good coach? pains me to say that with all the good vibes in the off season.
because i want to know. lol, wtf? i asked the question. i am in pain though... trust. meco got his ass kicked today by another rookie coach.. we all saw it.
Oh shiiiiippp. You’re about to get murdered for this comment. Lol He’s not getting fired for at least 3 years. I’m not sure what’s happening but I’ll wait to judge him by week 6-7 ish. Long road.
Yeah Stroud looks legit. If you put his statline in a vacuum it would be hard to convince everyone that the offense looked like it struggled. Get him an OL asap
This. If Cas had traded CLE pick, I think we'd all be a lot more comfortable and forgiving with this season.
He’s not a statue. He’s not ever going to dance around the pocket like Watson. But, as he gets accustomed to the speed of the pro game, I think he’ll have a better idea when to tuck the ball and run. Tom Savage was a statue. Matt Schaub with a bad foot was a statue. Stroud will be fine as he continues to develop.
trust me, Matt Schaub could slide and take a run. I’ve never seen Stroud even attempt anything … even at Ohio State. He has moments where he can gain yards but gets confused on where to go. Maybe because of the shoulder today? just something that I’ve seen 2 games in a row. He will never beat you with his feet.
I’m not saying he’s great with his legs. I’m just saying he has the ability to run with the ball. In time I think he will do okay.
You can play this video all you want. It doesn’t help you. He’s about the same athlete as Mac Jones. Running isn’t his game, playmaking isn’t a strong suit. He’s gotta beat you with his arm and reads, which hopefully are as good as some think
I saw the safeties being lousy, but the real problem is the front seven, particularly against the run.
