We’ll see if Stroud is able to attack those parts of the field with efficiency again against the Colts.

He was pretty bad his last full season too. The bad timing for the OL to fall apart right before we thrust a QB into the fire is typical Texans tragedy stuff. Hopefully this set of coaches is smart enough to keep the kid upright for a few weeks via scheme and intent until the better linemen are ready to go.
RG having to cover for the rookie C and the backup RT at the same time is not an ideal situation. We'll see.
Neither is having a play design where the covered C is supposed to pull and the G's are tasked with slide blocking pretty good DTs. I think coaches can shore up some of the problems with the OL just by understanding their talent level and modifying the blocking assignments.
They played against a very, very good D-line last week (and some hellaciously fast LBs). One of the best front 7s they'll see all year.
