Meco got to find ways to get some pressure on the QB. Too many plays where they don't have anyone in the back field.
So how the defense looked last week was more about Baltimore having a new offense themselves than this defense actually being good.
Anderson is winning his matchups though it just doesn't help when there are guys running wide open every where on the field. Caleb Williams ain't fixing that issue.
I haven't watched a Texans game in probably 3-4 years. Ol' Billy Ballsacks was still coaching, somewhere around trading Hopkins. Watt left. I just couldn't do it anymore. I mean the sting was real, I probably have watched a handful of any football games outside of the super bowl. So, I decided what the hay, I'll sit down and watch the revamped Texans play the Colts today! 1st drive killing us already. No response. They pile on. We go for 4 yards on 3rd and 6. I mean home opener against the division. They just play little brother. Just some JV squad against a real professional football team. This organization has deserved a stadium full of fans like 3 years out of 20.
So far Stroud hasn't shown he's capable of escaping pressure/scramble for yds. He only ran for 136 yds in 3 yrs in college, one of his biggest weaknesses. You cannot be a pure pocket QB w/ a shaky O-line & unfortunately this dude is only as good as our O-line, which is not very good... Defense just looks out of sync & barely able to generate any type of pressure
28-10 at home vs another rookie QB and his back up is embarrassing I don't need more than 6 quarters to see that I understand the offensive line but the defense has no excuse to give up 28 in 1 half
