I enjoyed this remark in that link.... 2 picks and a TD from our secondary and great coverage in the second half. The Colts had a great time against the Texans' secondary too Response.... this is C.J Stroud, not Will Levis, And the Texans WR corp may be the best and deepest you face all year
Perform well in primetime games, then maybe Texans won't be first game on Saturday every time they make the playoffs. Let's get a convincing win (31-13). .
my fave was this, "It’s wild that the Panthers beat the Texans last year in mid season, and now they’re an unstoppable juggernaut. Odds are in their favor, but to say Bears don’t have a chance is weak minded."
I would like to point out the 2023 Texans, as fun as they were, would have their hands full with the 2024 Texans.
That's positive thinking for ya. Honestly, it's true. We are the better team, but we can't play stupid. We can't be making stupid penalties, can't screw up our use of the time clock, and can't make stupid play calls in the red zone. We can't give the ball away with fumbles or interceptions. We should win, but we can give any game away by stupid mistakes. I never take any game for granted, but I have a good feeling about us winning tomorrow.
We're gonna flaunt it on both sides of the ball. Damn. Some of y'all are so gunshy, you've lost context.
I hope tonight is a Slowik game. Similar to how the Browns game went. Stroud was fantastic and got the credit, but a lot of it was Bobby basically calling a perfect game. I think from a passing perspective, Slowik called a pretty blah game against the Colts. It seemed like more often than not, there was good defense on display vs the play calls the Texans had. Very different as compared to watching a 49'ers game in which their receivers are constantly running wide open as the primary target.
The real depth BIGINS with WR4, not 1,2 or 3. Texans have Metche, Woods, Hutchenson and Sims. W could beat most teams without the top 3. THAT'S DEPTH.
