I think a flag still stops the clock even if declined. I might be wrong though. If we would have accepted it would have been a 10 sec run off but no loss of down.

Good defensive game, but Bobby ain't ready for the big leagues yet. Hope Mixon is alright. Next week's game is going to be a tough one, the defense will get tested once again and the Bobby needs to figure out a better game plan.

It stops when they are figuring things out, otherwise, isn't it at the VERY LEAST, like a 10 second runoff? I mean, that's a gigantic benefit to the team committing the flag if it just stops the ****ing clock and gives them a free timeout.

A win is a win, but this team has a long way to go…Stupid penalties, stupid penalties and more stupid penalties…We tried our very best to give Chicago the victory…

I think we were better last year. I haven't seen continuation but regression. It's early but I'm concerned. Mildly

If Al shazir or whatever gets fined/suspended then the Bears defender who did an obvious illegal tackle which resulted in an actual injury should be given the same if not worse punishment.

We were worse last year week 1 and 2 versus this year week 1 and 2.

Give those guys back there some time. They're young. By mid-season they will have not only tightened things up, but will.be making big plays right and left. Our defense is in the process of evolving into something special.

Tickets being so insanely expensive plays into this.

And especially not for or against a team I love. I’m too conflicted.

I think that line was off but the Texans got sacked in field goal range and fumbled on the 3 yard line.

A win is a win. The D basically killed Caleb, the O was going against a good defense but still has some work to do.

Teams who play rough but win are teams who make deep runs into the postseason. 2-0 is 2-0, hopefully they clean up what needs to be cleaned up.

Also I think Ka’imi has entered the best kicker in football conversation

An ugly win is still a win. The offense just couldn't get untracked. The defense was stout, but so was the Bears'. I didn't like the Texan's game plan much. As someone earlier wrote; so far, the Texans looked more in sync last season. There is a lot to clean up. Championship talk is way too premature.
