Thanks. I’ll be working in Jackson but living in East Lansing. Mid October is when I move. Lived here in Houston my entire life so it’ll definitely be a culture change. Looking forward to the new journey.
Dangit, I hope the Juice injury is not major. He missed a lot of time last season with what I thought would be a minor injury. Hopefully he's not one of these guys that impresses when in the game but misses half of every season.
LMAO. Couldnt get the roof panel fixed in time for primetime national tv, so lets just open the motherfvcker.
Hurricane damage is embarrassing? These roof panels aren't ready made. After hurricane Ike in 2008 they played the entire season with the roof open and the panels were fixed in the offseason. Faster repair this time.
It's from a hurricane, not deferred maintenance. The only embarrassment is that a cat 2 would cause roof damage and that's on the architect or contractor or both. However, if it is found to have been from a tornado spawned by the hurricane, then it is an act of nature.
I have a freaking late afternoon landscaping job for a client, I should be wrapped up by the time the game starts, but I am likely to miss the first 10 minutes of the game, considering the travel and putting up equipment that has to be done before Monday - The only day I have to work on Sunday for this entire month So at least I'm not missing a 12 PM game which would've happened if it was a different week Beyond that I should be good to go for the game! - Hope everyone enjoy the game! maybe grab a pizza or some barbecue on the way home
Nice saw it open today. Also, CJ was asking for better crowd awareness when the offense is on the field in the paper yesterday. Hopefully not as many visiting fans at games this year!!
Houston fans are notoriously bad at game awareness, it drives me crazy. I was at the Astros/Royals game a couple weeks ago when we had a no hitter going into the 8th, and the fans starting doing the wave while WE were pitching!! It's damned embarrassing.
