I think they sit CJ and Vegas takes that into account. I think the offense should play, but honestly what are you going to fix that you couldn't fix in the first 17 weeks. Our offense needs speed, if you look at the plays from Xmas, we don't have speed at the WR or TE.....maybe the new WR can help. The offense needs a rebuild and you can't do that now................the sad reality is that whoever we play after the Titans game will be a tough match up, and my positivity went away weeks ago
The Chargers defense would be a tough matchup for the Texans offense. They special in split safety looks, third-most this season. Allow a passer rating of 81.6(sixth lowest) and have the second most INTs(10). They do allow 4.8 rushing yards per attempt BUT the Texans have the fourth lowest YPC against split safety looks(4.3). Also the Texans passing attack has a 79.1 passer rating against the split safety looks. Stroud been pressured 50 times with a time to pressure of 2.57(tied for second FASTEST)
I don't blame the team for not showing up Wednesday. Not only did this game mean nothing to us, but the NFL forced all the players to play on Christmas Day and on 4 days rest. That's absurd and deserving of non effort. Why would the players play hard when the game doesn't even matter? Literally forcing the players to spend time away from their family on Christmas, that is BS and i understand the lack of effort now. Ravens wanted it a little more because the game was meaningful for them.
