I think people have kinda silly expectations and don't really pay attention to the nfl. There was a play where KC had the ball on 3rd down, there was an EGREIGIOUS, i mean a completely ludicrus hold against hunter, the texans STILL sack him to get the stop, and they give KC the 1st down. That kinda play would NEVER happen for the texans and stroud.

We do, he just doesn't make the throws. This season he consistently passes up guys open in their first window waiting on the second window that often never comes or doesn't come before there is pressure

Until this offense figures out how not to light 2nd downs on fire, this team will never be able to consistently move the ball, and hang with teams like KC. KC didn't play like world beaters today, but they moved the chains with easy, quick passes that kept the defense on their heels for the better part of the 2nd half. The Texans hung around enough to be competitive, but it never felt like the game was out of KC's control, and that was due to the fact that they mostly faced 3rd and less than 7. The Texans OTOH were always in 3rd and long, and outside of the 82 yard drive, there really wasn't a single time where you felt like the Texans were establishing anything.

And frankly, that's how it's been all season long. This offense hasn't been able to establish a single thing they do excessively well, and we are now heading into Week 16. They are just an above average football team at this point, and will not make any real noise come playoff time. Injuries have certainly played their part, but it's not like they were lighting the world on fire with Stef and Tank on the field anyways. CJ has played a big part in that as well. He's holding onto the ball too long, not seeing open WRs, staring guys down, and making inaccurate throws when the play is there. It's depressing, but it is what it is.

Right that was my point. If it happened in Houston he’s right there ready to get treatment immediately. **** KC.

They do but its not enough. KC came out this game and said they were not going to drop back Pat too much and they were going to get rid of the ball, it worked. We do it occasionally. That's not enough, especially with our personnel, we did do some of it today and it worked but like I said after the game not much is going to work offensively with just Nico. None of these other WRs can get open on talent now, they must be schemed open.

We've had multiple people now look at the play calling and say the same thing showing it on video, the routes are predictable, and because Slowik doesn't trust CJ to call out protections at the line so good luck having good hot route options when there is pressure. Like this has to be one of the worst teams when it comes to that alone.

The WCO is also of course depends on a blocking scheme that requires a lot of motion which this team does not even have the talent on the line to even do.

Hindsight is 20/20... wish we would have sat most of the starters today.

Jesus! They took him to that hospital so he could get the very best treatment for his injury. The NFL most likely has an agreement with that hospital to treat players. There are hospitals on that side of town that could have provided treatment for his injury - it's not like they were in the middle of nowhere. You're reading more into the situation than is necessary.

I get resting players but tbh I think the Texans needed this. Obviously didn’t need the injuries but if they truly wanna grow as a team and take the next step they need to go through these dogfights.

They clearly are a tier below the Chiefs, Ravens, and Bills. So if we’re being honest we were never going anywhere this year. However these battle scars should help them long term.

I think most of the talent is there, but not sure the OL coach knows how to implement it. Also, OC getting play calls in late (paralysis by analysis) ain't helping CJ or the OL.

Look man, don’t get snippy with me. I realize they took him to that hospital bc it was better to take him there for his injury. I’m saying if he was in Houston, a city with much better medical facilities, he would have been much closer to a level one trauma center. So it makes it even that much worse. Quick treatment is important especially if he does have a tibial plateau fracture. I’m not suggesting a conspiracy. I’m suggesting that KC blows and doesn’t have the same rigor of medical care as the medical center in Houston, TX.

Sorry for Tank and he held the ball - what a warrior.

Still work to do, Refs really helped KC today....

Yeah I know it doesn’t really mean anything, but what a damn way to go out, held on to that ball like a boss. Just when it looked like we were getting old tank back :(

You can't expect any city with 1/5 the population as Houston to have a medical center like Houston.

Can all y’all KC defenders just allow me to be irrationally angry in peace?

I hope Tank's leg will be okay in the end.

@PackerNation , you're welcome for the early diagnosis.
