[Official] Week 14 Texans @ Chiefs

I was in the hospital watching that game. So happy in the first half, so sad in the second. It was reminiscent of the "Moon" collapse in Buffalo.

 

That early lead was misleading.

Chiefs had 1 blown coverage leading to a TD. Then a blocked punt and a muffed punt return, all leading to 14 points. At the same time, chiefs just dropped passes that would have extended drives.

Chiefs being the obviously better team just hurt themselves all 1st quarter. Once they stopped doing that, it was over for us.

 

Yes, thanks for reminding me of the other sh_t stain on our football teams. We had a 35-3 lead at the half and they scored like 38 to our zero in 2nd half (If I recall correctly).

 

KC having offensive line issues... man we need to take advantage of that.

 

You know they’re gonna hold on every play and finish with another immaculate ‘no penalty’ game.

 

Last portion of the 3rd quarter is the key IMO... I have no doubt we'll be either winning or still in it up until that point.. Being able to extend the lead or not allowing KC to cut into it is detrimental for my psyche... I would like to start the 4th without thinking " Same ol Texans" one of these days against KC

 

This is as close to playing in the AFC Championship game as this team will get...until it actually plays in the AFC Championship Game.

 

My one request is that we stick to the quick over the middle throws. We were carving up the colts doing that, then we would get into this lull of running up the middle and taking deep shots. Then we would come back to the quick shots over the middle.

I trust the defense..

throw it up the middle (fast), run it outside.

 

Youre going to get 3 runs up the middle, and you're going to like it.

 

And punt on 4th and 8 after a 5 yd penalty

 

My understanding is that these are often hospital balls. Safety comes in and rocks the reciever

 

The NFL won’t allow the Chiefs to miss the playoffs. I hope I’m wrong this time.

KC hasn't got the message. It's time to deliver it in person.

While I'd take any win, I want a STATEMENT GAME which says your reign is over. The King is dead, Long live the (new) King.

Watching KC feeds, they are talking about the CHIEFS and almost ignoring the TEXANS. I take that as an insult. They think all they have to do is play well and they win like we have nothing to do with whether they can play well.

It pisses me off and I'm only a fan.

I hope our defense has their best game of the year, and scares the living daylights out of Mahomes for 4 quarters.

I hope they force him into making mistakes, leading to an interception or two, in between some body jarring sacks, rattling his cage more than he's ever felt before.
