Beatup on poor teams Balt/Tenn, was looking good against Denver but got concussed, then 4 games later came back against the Colts and looked avg, but lead his team to a win and that's all that really matters. I'm wanting to see how he does the rest of the year before they extend him (They will extend him regardless) and I wouldn't extend him at 5-300 regardless of how he does unless he can LEAD the team to an AFCCG. You spoke of concussions, taking a chance on a guy with CJ's concussion history also adds to the risk.
No, you trade him. My eyes and PFF numbers (If you like those kinds of site, I dont) over the past yr tell a different story. Add in the concussion history and there's no way I would re-sign him to 5-300 unless he can lead the team to an AFCCG. It's ok to agree to disagree, but I would be very risk adverse in this situation. The risk isn't worth the reward IMHO. But I'm not a CJ guy, although I'm for CJ starting the rest of the yr and changing my mind.
