it’s something we’ve seen since week 1 - just a lack of chemistry between the offense and just lots of miscommunication. I don’t understand the disconnect as it’s pretty much the same guys. Cars body language says it all - when he turned the ball over last year, he was ready to go back in and get it back. This year, it’s almost as if he’s dreading it and doesn’t have the same confidence.
How can someone look at this and realize that its not all on coaching. Our players are not being coached well at all. This is on Slowik and/or Demeco for being hands off. So in addition to not having good play calls, he also can't coach the guys the details. This is a tell tale sign of a poorly coached offense
The details are severely lacking. It's starting to be like that everywhere (not just on offense). That explains a large part of the penalties. Coaches aren't adjusting/tweaking effectively, and it seems like the players are talking about changes but not doing enough to change. Team bought into offseason hype and is clearly not putting in enough work. Unless a miracle happens, we're gonna be a WC-round exit team this year.
Holy cow I didn't realize how close this was to being fumbled for a touchdown. Not that it really mattered in the end.. This team is littered with mental errors and bad coaching.
Yea, I love how Dan breaks it down, man either the coaches are not coaching them right or we have the dumbest players in all of football, so I assume it's the former and not the latter. On that one play you see multiple mental mistakes, and we wonder why we think CJ may be losing some confidence in his teammates. If you're the players and its Monday and Demeco lays out 40-50 plays to go over in the Monday meeting and you see this time after time, you have to be super frustrated. I love Demeco and this is part of a new HC, he has to learn some things on the fly, but its how you react to the issues that sets the tone, if we're not going to hold guys accountable, coached included, then the "motivation" piece is not as effective. As it stands now, I think we may win a WC game but that's about it, were at the bottom of the AFC in terms of who we would play and thats counting on us not screwing the pooch over the rest of the schedule I can see a win VS the Jags and maybe the Titans and the end of the year, but Miami (Tua back and is on fire), KC (nuff said) and Baltimore (Texan killer D Henry) will probably be losses, and we land at 9-8 and bounced early in the playoffs.................and that just plain sucks.
