Just listened to Landry Locker and I have to agree his point which mirrors the above. DeMeco is holding the defense and offense to different standards with him letting the offensive staff and players skate by with the lack of adjustments, stupid penalties and dumb ass play calling.
Given Colts remaining schedule, they have 1 loss left on the road at Denver, although they have a shot. So Colts will end up with 8 losses. If that happens, we will have to go 1-4 in our last 5 which is extremely possible. We already lost to the Titans, we have to face Jacksonville on the road next week, and pencil in 3 losses to the Dolphins, Ravens, Chiefs. The division will come down to can we beat the Jags and Titans, and I don't know that we can.
Just not a very good football team Brian. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...oud-demeco-ryans-kaimi-fairbairn-19939857.php Perhaps it's time to face their reality: Maybe the Texans just aren’t as good as everyone thought they were. But every week — win or lose — the issues have remained the same for this team. The Texans have an offense that has no idea what to do in the second half, a kicker now struggling to make big kicks, a second-year quarterback in a slump, a defense that can't stop the run, and a team that can't stop committing penalties. But this is the Texans. And poor second halves have been happening all season. Since their Oct. 13 victory over the Patriots, the Texans have scored just one offensive touchdown in the second half.
The Jags will beat themselves for the Texans, especially with Mac Jones at QB. The key thing is the Texans have to eliminate the self inflicted mistakes. They don't enough have to play well, just don't do the stupid stuff and they should easily win by double digits. Most Jags fans are already planing on boycotting the game because they didn't fire anyone in the bye week. Combine that with Thanksgiving weekend, it will be mostly Texans fans. And even the Jags fans in attendance will be rooting for a loss to get rid of Pederson and Baalke.
Titans with one of the worse offensive lines found creative ways to move the ball with explosive plays and also got their run game going. I would take their OC over Slowik in a heartbeat. The difference in coaching is jarring
The fact that these clowns were running long 20 yard routes while we are knee deep in our own endzone infuriates me.
