Ok I'm starting to calm down a little. I still love this team but **** they frustrate the **** out of me
Yeah it's not happening, this team can't get a push up the middle in any way. The interior of the line is really bad. Kenyon Green was trash at pass blocking but he was actually a good run blocker or at least better at it than his pass blocking I guess. I think this is why Mixon has struggled a bit of late, the interior of the line is worse at it now than they were before and it's probably going to take another 2 weeks for Slowik to realize that.
Great offensive minds like Sean Payton get the most out of their players. I think we've been given enough of a sample size to know that Slowik doesn't fully understand the Shanahan system. The offense seems meh at best mostly unimaginative and at times perplexing. If this trend continues I say we cut ties after the season. I doubt they would make a change during the season.
Definitely the last game I watch this year and I won’t watch until coaching has been addressed. I said it a few months ago, loser ownership breeds loser coaching and losing coaching breeds loser players. This whole organization is one fat L top to bottom.
Could be the Gen Xer in me, but yeah... life's not fair... on to the next one. It's a sports COMPETITION. You had success before, but so did players on the other team. Stop reading your own press (Rox & Texans) and go prove it.
Texans have a kicker that blows 28 yard field goals. Meanwhile opposing kickers will blast that **** straight through from the moon 100% of the time when the game is on the line. Gotta work on that FG defense.
If it makes any of you feel any better, there is no bigger flop this year than the San Francisco 49'ers.
Speaking of flops, if the Giants freak out and fire Daboll I'd think hard about bringing him on board as OC.
49ers are beat to hell, right @B-Bob ? Disappointments Jets Browns Bengals Entire AFC South Cowboys Bears Saints 49ers “Pleasant surprises” Steelers Chargers Broncos Commanders Vikings
Well, we only ran 5 plays in the 3rd quarter. We had a 3 and out and then CJ threw an INT on the 2nd drive. Then the Pick 6 kept the Titans offense on the field for a while.
Ka'imi Fairbairn's missed 28-yard field goal attempt in the fourth quarter marked just the fourth missed field goal of 29 or fewer yards (out of 159 attempts) in the NFL this season. Two of those four misses are by Fairbairn.
This is actually why I still stand that Demeco is a great defensive coach too btw. He makes a lot of players look better than they are, he's going to get guys paid playing here. Like Pitre was a bad player because he was not that good covering guys in space, so what does Meco do? He treats him like an extra Will LB that is capable of blitzing and playing the run but also do a bit of covering if needs be. He turned Pitre into a flexible and useful piece of this defense. We had our three LBs out for a lot of the season too and we had random guys come in and look serviceable. Meanwhile on offense we had Nico, Diggs, and Tank and somehow someway could not get these guys open.
One of the positives on CJ was that he was calm, cool, and collected. He doesn't look that way anymore. The broadcasters were talking about him not sweating INTs but you could see how dejected he was on the sideline. This year has negatively impacted CJ and it SHOWS.
Heard it live and it sounded like she was just having fun with a frustrating game. Why else would K'aimi miss a chip shot fg if not for the cartels
