Teams have Slowik figured out and I don't think he knows how to respond. There were times last year where everything felt easy. This year, everything seems so ****ing hard. All the time. The league caught on to Slowik and he's unwilling or unable to change.

We’re barreling towards a 4-seed WC round beatdown on a Saturday afternoon in January

The defense did let the Titans march 80 yards down the field uncontested

When is the last time they overachieved? The Bills game? That is ancient history. Trust your eyes. When you see poop, it's poop.

If they weren't getting a sack, the defense was pretty shitty. The Titans had receivers wide open and got a bunch of chunk plays.

There is nothing to suggest they will beat KC, or the Ravens. Nothing.

This is so damning of the coaching staff. If the other team, you know, plays differently, Slowick has zero answers.

The most alarming thing is that this team seems to be getting worse...

The secondary had it's issues today but the offense is certainly what is holding us back.

Secondary has been getting beat deep all season. Texans would have two more losses if teams didn't miss a couple of those passes. Receivers were open, but they either dropped it or the ball wasn't thrown quite well enough. One of the problems when you most your games are close is one or two plays turns it into a loss. Texans luck has gotten worse over the course of the season - but the signs were there early.

Adjustments (lack of) and pre-snap penalties are two of the clearest evidence of subpar coaching. The discrepancy of offense between halfs is staggering, and the offense hasn't exactly been explosive in the 1st half either.

Nothing to suggest the Texans could beat them aside from beating the Bills…but to me it’s pretty clear the chiefs and ravens are not unbeatable teams given who the ravens lost to (browns and raiders in particular) and the chiefs playing close with everyone including Carolina. That’s not a vote of confidence in the Texans it’s just the reality of the NFL in 2024.

Don’t let any of this post lead you to believe I’m not disappointed in how the Texans have played this year.

That’s a hugely overlooked part! They need to be able to run the ball effectively.

Titans were averaging 18 points/game before today.

Texans got beaten over-the-top (same they have all season) today and that 70-yarder by a TE was completely ridiculous.

Levis had his most yards in a half today. Two other Titans did things the first time ever in their career.

Meanwhile, Fairbairn can't make a 28-yard FG. Texans offense can't score 4 points in a half.

It's not that Ravens and Chiefs look amazing- far from it- but the Texans have proven over and over again this year that their offense does not have a plan B, Stroud is regressing and the defense gives up too many big plays to be considered elite.
I am afraid Demeco is mediocre and the rest of the organization is still covered in loser residue.

There was nothing to suggest they win any of the games they do. They dominated the Bill after looking horrible for weeks.

It's because the defense is there but the offense gets shut out every game. Basically if the Texans have no cushion at all going into the second half they will lose most likely.

KC and Baltimore are also very wishy washy this year.
