Yup. The Texans lost to the Jets in the 2009 season opener. The Jets were featured on Hard Knocks in 2010.
I don't think he lost any weight. Just because he changed his diet doesn't mean he was doing it to slim down. The vegan thing is such a non-story that it's getting comical. If anything he's probably stronger than before because he's paying more attention to what he puts in his body.
Please don't call it a career early like he did. Foster seems to have the mentality for that train of thought
Ha, I definitely get that feeling with Foster...like some philosophical craziness that is going to lead him down a different road when he's like 28. That would suck.
I made the assumption based on the picture tweeted, which someone just posted, and not just the change in diet. He looks thinner (i realize he's not wearing pads). The cut of the new jersey could be the reason, but Tony Gonzalez initially lost weight after making the change. So, I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. Foster has never been "shredded" physically, so he could have lost fat primarily. Hard to say without having detailed knowledge of his diet before and after.
I think he's referring to the likes of Glen Coffee and Robert Smith....leaving the game, not because RBs have short careers, but leaving the game to pursue a higher calling.

(Bryan) Braman is actually back to work today, should be ready to go on Wednesday. We’re fine. They did a good job of keeping the game on our end early. They moved the ball on us the first drive. We moved it on them.
