Gonna go home, smoke a bowl, have a beer or six, and cheer my ass off for my team tonight! I BELIEVE!!!!
Exactly. We still have some great players on our team and a good offensive system and we still play D
It's going to be tough without yao, but There is no turning back now. The advance must continue.. lock and load. I believe!!
I believe in Rick Adelman. If Daryl can just get him another big, ahem Justin Williams ahem, I think we can make some noise.
I am gonna bury me in smoke and have a good time watching the Rockets continue to kick A$$. I will not stop believing in this team. GO ROCKETS!!
substitute Crown shots for beers, and we will be doing the exact same thing tonight. cheers to you...and to any others that never give up.
I still believe. I have always believed. We are here for the Rockets through the good and the bad. I know we can still do it and I have faith that Tracy McGrady will pull through for once in his career. I love my Rockets.
damn straight, this may have wounded our pride but i wont let the haters have even the smallest moment of victory by thinking we are rooting for a lost cause. Never stop believing in the heart of a champion and always keep the hope alive.
Tonight starts the first win in the new era for this season - AY (After Yao). I'm not going to add tonight's win to the previous 12, but I'm going to start counting fresh. That way, when we get to 12 wins again and then pass it, everyone will know and BELIEVE what an amazing team we have that would rally together against unspeakable odds and win this one for their fallen leader - Yao Ming. I BELIEVE!!!!!
I believe....this season is done, I just can't see the Rockets, who by the way, made their success taking advantages of Yao's doubleteam, will be able to compete with the likes of GSW and Portland, let alone the other Top6.
After the initial undescribable wave of depression and anxiety, I have calmed down, sat back, and realized that this isn't the end of the world. Obviously this hurts. A lot. But we still have a lot of great guys out there. We can still do something special, and we can still surprise a lot of people.
Season Is Not Over! Never say Never.... Season Is Not Over! Never say Never.... First off lets get to the point.. We lost our best player.. bottom line.. It's time to dust ourselves off and make a strong push the last 26 games. Rick Adelman now has to figure out a way to adjust without Yao. We can now be that small ball team that Adelman was used to coaching in Sac Town. We still have alot of depth and athleticism on our team so we still have players to work with. Who knows, this may give Landry the opportunity to be that guy who came out of nowhere to be an All Star ::crossed fingers:: Scola will also have that opportunity.. So we still have quite a bit to look forward to when we watch the games. I also like T-Mac's ability to step it up when Yao is out for a signifigant amount of time. T-Mac is an underrated passer who actually helps the team more by driving and dishing than actually taking shots. This is a time for our guys to step up, and who knows we may be in for a pleasant suprise during Yao's injury (Landry,Scola,Green). As much as I hate the New York Giants you didn't see them pack it in down the stretch despite huge injuries to both sides of the ball.. Keep in mind.... Never Say Never.... the Giants didn't
I'll be honest here, my heart literally dropped when I heard the news. Why the heck does this keep happening to us? And why does it have to happen at a time like this when the team finally started clicking? This is bullcrap man! I still have hope we'll make out of the first round. Maybe the team will rally past this and start playing with some desperation. This has been one hell roller coaster ride of a season. All of the ups and downs, and this by far has been the biggest drop of the ride. How the Rockets respond and pick themselves back up is yet to be seen. I'M STILL WATCHING TONIGHT'S GAME AND THE REST OF THE GAMES FOR THE SEASON! YOU CAN'T TAKE MY LOVE AWAY FROM ME! SCREW YOU!!!
