If the offense doesn't get things straightened out we might as well be. Remember that it took us 35 minutes to score against a bad NE defense and we only had one offensive TD against a similarly bad Indy defense. 2 TD's in 2 weeks against below average defenses by our first team offense in the last 2 weeks. The Vikings defense is mediocre as well but it's been better than those 2 teams. It may have been under the radar a bit, but we're in an offensive slump and playoffs are right around the corner.
Foster doesn't care at all. Shows no emotion. Slips every play. Just cares about being goofy and cool.
No kidding. Glad it's still a ball game. I'm pretty damn grumpy....but part of that is I'm sleepy and need some water.
they'll come thru in the 2nd half!! quick 3 and out by the defense will be huge.. maybe run some no huddle on offense.. let's GO TEXANS!!!
Pretty tough to watch. Kubiak showing a lack of options when he's behind. Complete lack of a vertical passing game is killing us, and Schaub can't make things happen without help. This is exactly what happened to the offense against GB and NE as well. Disturbing as we slowly prepare for the postseason. I'd far far far rather see Wade employ more of a traditional 4-3 against these guys, but so far Peterson hasn't been able to break past the first level enough for it to make us pay. The soft man coverage has been atrocious - this scheme has always put all its eggs in the pass rush basket, and man have we been riddled in the secondary since the break. I really miss Cushing. I'd rather not see anyone named "Harris" on the field for us going forward. It's still a relatively close game. We might need a DST score to get back in it, but its hardly out of reach.
This team has an amazing and puzzling inability to "seize the moment." You have a chance to have home field through out the playoffs, and you don't show up. I can't figure that out.
