Their best run came when they hurried to the line after a change of possession. They ran some kind of hurry up/no huddle at times earlier in the season and had some success with it but it seems like they've completely abandoned that, even using it as a change up.
They aren't going for these boot legs just run a regular slant route... Why dont we have any easy small plays. Everything is so extravagant when it comes to passing in this offense. Defense is going to have to have a take away.
That last play is the main reason I want Schuab gone. Any other QB would have been able to pick up that 1st down by running the ball. But Schaub runs backwards on the boot action, making it impossible for him to put added pressure on the defense.
Namecalling aside I think the point is our coaches can be incredibly stubborn at times, and it'd be nice to see them try some different looks. God help us if we play the Patriots in the playoffs with the same game plan as our loss. And would it kill Kubiak to go for it on 4th and short ...at least once in awhile?
That's what a mobile QB can do, when everything breaks down extend drives. I ****ing will never understand why Gary is so in love with a severely limited QB.
