Manute fathered a son called Bol. Let's see what kind of kids Wemby will produce. :D

I just see a Jalen Green like level of shot taking combined with a Jalen Green like level of efficiency. Unlike Green who is going to be held accountable or he's going to be shipped elsewhere, it seems that Vic doesn't have much in terms of accountability and went to a franchise that is pretty much going to do whatever he wants them to do. Pop is old and he had Tim Duncan for most of his successful years. Wemby is absolutely nothing like Tim Duncan. He's the literal opposite of that. And if people think that he's going to listen to Pop or Tony Parker, they are sorely mistaken. The dude is a brat just like Alex Sarr.

France lost the game after Wemby tried to match the 3 Curry hit. He threw up a horrible shot, bricked and we hit another to create the distance we needed. Anyone who actually watched the Spurs play consistently saw him throw up horrible shots. His **** shot selection is all on him.

He's young and that can change with time.

There was one play in the Olympic Finals that stuck in miy mind, regarding Wemby: When he guarded KD on the perimeter.
Wembys feet moved fast. It was amazing, he looked really like a guard. KD couldn't shook him off or just blew by him.

In general, Wemybs movement belies his height. He didn't look akward. Shoot selection, meh. That can be improved. But his defense was what (unfortunately) broke Germany.

    Wemby will be fine.

Alex Sarr seems pretty awful, Victor is way above him, nobody is perfect though.

Wembanyama is on track to be the next goat and is a prodigy at such a young age. However I also think people glazed him too much last year when he was still an inefficient scorer and wasnt a top 15 NBA player. We will see if he makes the actual jump this year.

With that said I am strangely not worried about Wemby because one man can only do so much and his team sucks ass. We also stole Reed Sheppard from them who would have been the perfect robin for his batman. Castle looks like a stud but his shooting is iffy and he needs a clear space inside which goes against Wemby playstyle. There is also the health issue, 7'5 players dont last long in the NBA and we are in the Mr. Glass era where players become injury prone left and right.

I am more worried about OKC cuz that team looks like a better version of the KD OKC team.

It’s amazing how good this guy is at basketball, especially considering how he moves and shoots given his height. It’s like he’s Yao Ming on steroids, with the potential to become Kevin Durant 3.0. After watching him play last night against the Rockets, it’s incredible to see how much skill and talent he has. I really think he will be the new LeBron and the face of the NBA.
