I'd say Wemby's neck stands out more.

I'm not a hater of Wemby I just dont think he should be called a top 10 player when his team only won 20 games.

Times have changed I remember when Kevin Love averaged 20 20 a season and people just said he wasn't a superstar cuz Minny was losing. Now Spurs are ranked last in the West but Wemby is a top 10 player for averaging 20/10 on mediocre efficiency.

Said it all year. Wemby is a great shot blocker and good rebounder. The rest of his game is so/so. At least for now, he is a media generated superstar. If he doesn’t develop a 3 pointer and solid mid-range game, he will be a good player but no where close to top 20 even. If he can build muscle without getting injured then he could become a great center, but the likelihood of that is remote. My bet is that the NBA makes sure SA get the first pick again, because they really want the international attention that Wemby brings and they need SA to become relevant to make Wemby relevant.

I just dont get the adoration for guys who are 7+ feet tall and want to play like Kevin Durant. They're not even good at it and their biggest advantage is essentially made moot because of how far away they are from the basket.

Wemby was 24th in EPM, 12th in BPM, 16th in VORP, 12th in PER as a rookie on a team that was doing everything they could to sabotage him to tank. Pretty wild take

One guy cannot lift up a team entirely even if he was 8 feet tall and has a 9 feet wingspan.

Absolutely the only things that will stop him from dominating the nba is health by far. Second and to a lesser degree never having any decent teammates. Otherwise it crystal clear the guy is special. The thing is I don’t think he will remain healthy. Someone with that much dexterity at that height just seems to be on the edge.

Victor absolutely dragging France to a win over Canada today. 7 points on 2/10 shooting and 0/6 from 3.

The French refs have been in the bag for Team France every single game including today vs Canada. So crooked.

Wemby is just Alex Sarr with 2 more inches. Bro has never seen a shot he didn't like unless it was in the paint.

This is the player hating I like to see.

He's Manute Bol with a first step.

He will be a more mobile Gobert at the very least that can guard the perimeter if needed. That's special enough. Superstar status depends on his offensive game becoming consistent with good percentages outside the paint. And health of course.
