I almost wish that he had been let loose in a couple of those games. Almost.

 

Maybe Pop is losing it. But Wemby sounds like an entitled diva 30 games into his rookie season.

He's shooting 29% from 3pt range. His TS% is about the same as Jalen Green. And he's a foot taller.

 

Pop needs to take heat here for all of his rep - they should have done what the Rockets did and phase II'd things a bit more.

I know it's remarkable that Wemby CAN make perimeter moves and freelance at his size, but they have erred WAY onto the side of overindulging it - the guy is unstoppable from 0-3 but they seem to make precious little effort to get him the ball in those spots and leave him to his own devces and as a cosequence he shoots WAY too many 3's, he should shoot them as often as Jokic or Sengun or Embiid, which is about half as muh.

 

Pop could just do a Jerry West role and help other franchises out or just retire.....
