Nadal won today, and has been the best lately.

There is a long list of players that I would rather win than Nadal, but it will be interesting to watch his attempt to win the U.S. Open.

Murray has the game to beat Fed. ?'s are which Fed will show up. Will Murray be a deer in headlights since it's his first grand slam final. He won it as a junior but circumstances are different obviously.

Murray has a 2-1 against Fed. He won't be bothered by Fed's change of pace since he utilizes the same tactics himself. If murray is anywhere near the level of play he was against Nadal, Fed is going to be in for a long match.

Murray has 2-1 against Feddy, but none of those are grand slam events. The way Federer disposed of Djokovich so convincingly makes it seem the old Feddy is indeed back. Also, Murray beat an obviously worn down Nadal. I wound be surprised if Murray manages to make a match out of this.

That may have some impact but it also does help that he's beaten Fed before. Murray's game is pretty solid now. He used to break players a lot but he could never hold his serve to consolidate them. he used to serve in the high 30's and low 40's on 1st serves but he's picked it up and has really improved his service games.

Fed definitely looked sharp against Djokovic so if he can play like that it'll be very hard for Murray. I don't see Murray using the same 10 feet behind the baseline to return serve tactic against Fed though. I've always had an interest in Murray's game because he's not the type to go out there and try to blast you off the court. he is a thinker out there and it shows. I'm pulling for Andy though in 4.

Was it just me or did they just play the Death Star March after Federer won?

This Federer guy is pretty good

Seriously, I'm glad he ended the year on a good note. Tennis is at a high point right now, and the more competition at the top, the better

Obviously a down year because what we were so used to seeing from Federer. But he still had a solid year. Semifinalist at the Australian, finalist at French and Wimbledon. A title at the US. A lot of players would love to have a down year like that.

Andy Murray looks like Danny Noonan from Caddyshack.

Wow just wow. Thanks Murray for making me look the fool :p. Federer laid it down on him and Murray shriveled in the moment.

for the last 4 years if you beat federer at a grand slam you ended up winning it. That is an incredible feat.
