    In most situations I would agree

    But we literally have no depth at that position now. We have no clue if Meyers will be ok there if Chas gets hurt, and Dusty is trying like hell to keep it that way

    And the Astros TV feed hardly ever give scores of other games. I don’t get why that is. All other teams I’ve watched have the scores scrolling thru out the game.

    I still think we win the division by 6 or 7, but continuing to look like a minor league team against awful competition is disappointing.

    I expect they’ll be fine presumably if everybody stays healthy… but it does seem like the “conventional” “old school” baseball moves have rarely worked out for Dusty.

    maybe this team is so analytically charged that any conventional move leads to an automatic rejection.
