Came in when he was not expecting to with a runner on and 0 outs. Although he gave up a walk, he got 2 big outs including a strikeout of Mauer. So, if you're definition of a ****show is anything that is not retiring every hitter you face, then you are correct.
I still haven't forgotten Will Harris and Tony Sipp blowing a game against the Royals in the Postseason, the stupid highlight they show is Correa getting a error, when Harris and Sipp should be blamed more and should've been traded by now, Correa had 2 home runs, but the error sticks out. I hate Harris and Sipp equally.
You can’t get over a game 3 years ago and since a WorldSeries title? Harris was a pretty big part of the pen last year and Sipp has been this year. Think it’s time you get over that one.
It helps so much that he's so good and he's hitting homers at a good clip right now, 6 in last 17 games.
You know, even though I would have LOVED to see Qualls, Lowrie, and Kazmir get rings, a 2015 Title would have meant Carlos Gomez would get a ring. So I'm okay with that. Basically everyone else (good) on that team got one last year. Still not over 2005, but I'm over 2015. I hope the Royals enjoyed that title, because its going to be a tough road ahead with their rebuild in full swing.
Oakland is blazing a trail through the American League. It is them and the Astros all the way to the postseason. Well, the Red Sox might have something to say about it.
Im hearing up in Yankee land that they are rooting for Houston to win the division, for two reasons. One, Justin Verlander + Elimination game = bad. Two, If Oakland wins, the Yanks are more likely to head down to Houston instead of holding home field.
Why in the hell are you blaming Sipp for the meltdown Harris had? If that one single Sipp allowed is the reason you hate his guts, then maybe you should rethink how you evaluate things.
