All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PVP that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on Root Sports unless otherwise noted. 5-2 Jose Berrios, RHP (0-1, 11.25) vs. Dallas Keuchel, LHP (2-3, 4.41) 7:10 5-3 Alex Meyer, RHP (0-0, 18.00) vs. Collin McHugh, RHP (2-3, 6.65) 7:10 5-4 Phil Hughes, RHP (1-4, 4.45) vs. Mike Fiers, RHP (2-1, 4.97) 7:10
Good opportunity for Keuchel and McHugh to get their mojo's back. It would be nice to have the first winning streak of the season as the Twins are not good. There are 0 excuses to not win this series.
If the Astros are going to turn it around and sweep a series, this is the one to do it. The Astros have a pitching advantage arguably in all the games. A sweep would make them 11-17..... not a good spot to be in but a hot spell would probably get them around .500% and really boost the confidence of a team that right now is lacking confidence.
16 home games this month vs 10 road...which is the opposite of what we had in April (10 home vs 14 road). Very good chance to get back to .500 by the end of the month if they start playing to their potential.
I'm going to every game this series, hopefully they can turn it around and get this ship back upright.
interestingly, the toughest game may be today even with Keuchel going. Berrios looks like he's going to have some really good starts this year. Hoping this isn't one of them. I expect Berrios to throw well but give up a couple of HRs--Rasmus for 1 of them
This series maybe the catalyst for whats to come. If we win it easily, then drastic roster changes maybe put on hold, temporarily. But if we lose big, I cant imagine the brass doing nothing and would hope and expect some movement soon after.
damn tickets cheap as hell for tonight on stub hub. good pitching matchup and you can get Terrence deck seats for 6 bucks. Field box seats like 10 bucks. lol

roof open today. Isnt it suppose to rain again later today? Not that I don't like it when it is open. I wish we open it more often. MMP is beautiful when the roof is open
