CBS News Poll: After Trump indictment, most see security risk, but Republicans see politics https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cbs-news-poll-most-see-security-risk-after-trump-indictment/
@AroundTheWorld is your buddy rogan planning on doing a rage session regarding how trump is literally selling out one of Americans sports to the Saudis? Trump is literally selling out American assets to Saudis but the right wing trolls are too busy spewing disproven hunter biden conspiracies It's so funny watching white men rage and spew conspiracies then get heralded as intelligent smart folks. Dumb trolls leading other trolls. White men suddenly have no issues with their sports being sold to facist dictators.
That poll pretty confirms what we’ve seen here. It’s important to note that 80% of all voters and even 38% of Republican voters consider what Trump did a security risk. That shows that it’s not half the country that believes this is a witch hunt when even a significant amount of Republicans consider this to be a security risk.
So, will trump try and drag this thing out until after the 2024 elections in hope he will either win so he can stop the process or hope that one of his rivals will pardon him?
I’m absolutely certain he will try to delay as much as possible. That is the SOP of Trump when faced with legal troubles.

I mean, sure, yes, he needs really big pants, but no need to fat shame the poor guy right now -- he's got enough problems with all his behavior coming home to roost.

Trump rejected lawyers’ efforts to avoid classified documents indictment The former president was not interested in attempting to negotiate a settlement in the classified documents investigation https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...p-indictment-classified-documents-settlement/ excerpt: One of Donald Trump’s new attorneys proposed an idea in the fall of 2022: The former president’s team could try to arrange a settlement with the Justice Department. The attorney, Christopher Kise, wanted to quietly approach Justice to see if he could negotiate a settlement that would preclude charges, hoping Attorney General Merrick Garland and the department would want an exit ramp to avoid prosecuting a former president. Kise would hopefully “take the temperature down,” he told others, by promising a professional approach and the return of all documents. But Trump was not interested after listening to other lawyers who urged a more pugilistic approach, so Kise never approached prosecutors, three people briefed on the matter said. A special counsel was appointed months later. Kise, a former solicitor general of Florida who was paid $3 million upfront to join Trump’s team last year, declined to comment. more at the link
