Normal people, when fact-checked, would not continue to blatantly lie. They might still try to mislead, but they would at least back off from false claims. That's not Trump. He will just keep lying the exact same way. A story (before he ran for POTUS) that exemplifies this is about a painting that Trump owns. It's a replica and not the original. He claims it's the original. When it was pointed out to him that it's a replica, he ignored that and continued to claim it's the original. He is a pathological liar with zero shame and has become as powerful as he is because of the Republican leadership not daring to challenge him and Republican voters not caring or being way too confused.

Certain people are too dumb to realize if COVID had hit 2 years earlier inflation, the economy, gas prices, etc. would have been the exact same during Trunp's last 2 years as they are now, if not worse. The vaccine came out right before Biden became President and the world started re-opening from COVID.
